Resodyn-Related Patents
Issued & Pending

In addition to its own rich IP portfolio, Resodyn's technology is referenced as "preferred embodiment” in issued and pending U.S. and international patents spanning fields from pharmaceuticals to swimming pools.

200+

Government & Private
Grants & Contracts Won

Tough technological challenges are Resodyn’s specialty. Government programs like SBIR and private research efforts have entrusted over $70 million to Resodyn over 20+ years for effective, timely, and economical solutions and products.

It All Adds Up To

World Class Research & Development

Every day something impossible becomes reality at Resodyn. It may be a small tweak that creates an order of magnitude improvement, or a processing discovery that makes a therapeutic formulation finally possible. Dozens of agencies, departments, and commercial firms rely on Resodyn’s insatiable thirst for practical solutions to intractable problems.

Some “impossibles” currently in development include high efficiency microreactor applications, power storage and renewable energy production processes, testing equipment for aviation landing gears, and safety coatings for U.S. Navy and Air Force munitions.

Areas of Research Specialization

Acoustic Mixing

Resodyn has pioneered the use of low-frequency, high-displacement acoustic fields for mixing, processing, material testing, and underground extraction technologies. Ongoing research focuses on previously un-processable materials, composite and nano-materials, and process development techniques. Implemented technologies at locations worldwide have returned tens of thousands of productivity hours to manufacturers through faster processing and higher quality products.

Continuous Acoustic Chemical Reactors

Underlying Continuous Acoustic Reactor (CAR) development work is the feasibility of breaking through production volume limits of chemical reactions, increasing the availability of certain strategic materials, and the promise of producing synthetics not otherwise possible. CAR researchers are breaking these and other barriers with the promise of safer, more effective, and more economical development and production of exotic and difficult chemicals by utilizing ResonantAcoustic® Technology.

First-Rate Facilities, World-Class Productivity

Resodyn Headquarters

Resodyn's facilities are split between two adjacent buildings in Uptown Butte, Montana, USA. The historic Hennessy Building houses Resodyn's headquarters, administrative and engineering offices, and research laboratories, while a purpose-built industrial facility constructed in 2005 houses production and logistics operations, procurement, and large scale process testing.

Historic Hennessy Building (Constructed in 1898)

Located in Butte, Montana's historic uptown district, the Hennessy Building once housed the elegant Hennessy's Department Store, as well as the executive offices of the Anaconda Copper Company. The historic building was acquired and renovated by Resodyn Corporation in 2004. The building is located in easy walking distance to many of Butte's best restaurants, shops, and festivals.
