We are seeking a passionate Senior Electrical Engineer looking for a challenging and diverse career experience. This is a unique opportunity for a technologically diverse organization with broad design opportunities in product development and R&D.

Successful candidate must have a proven background in electronic hardware design, development and implementation. Candidate must have a Ph.D. or an MSEE degree with a minimum of five years of design experience.

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical and electronic hardware using digital and mixed signal technology.

Responsibilities include:
The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for conducting and leading the development of complex analog and digital hardware from concept through production. In addition, the successful candidate will develop project schedules, coordinate Integrated Product Team activities, track subsystem technical status (mechanical, electrical, software) and coordinate activities with senior management.

Some exposure to Systems Engineering is also helpful, as it will facilitate identifying and specifying the overall design approach to be taken, as well as requirement creation and design documentation.

Conduct of multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years board-level analog and digital circuit design (power and electronics interfacing). Also, it is essential that the candidate have a strong current technical background in the following related areas:
  • Circuit Board
  • Programmable Logic
  • Microprocessors
  • Firmware and System Design
  • Sensors, Temperature, Motor Control & Encoder
  • PC Communication controllers (Serial & Parallel) Design Tools & Standards
  • VHDL Programmable Logic Language
  • Altium Designer
  • Demonstrated experience with real time motion control
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • C, C+, C++
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years experience as an Electrical Engineer
  • Ph.D. or MSEE (ABET Accredited)
  • Authorized to work in the United States with Green Card, or US Citizenship
  • Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, demanding and exciting technology environment.
  • Strong work ethic and team player attributes.
  • Application experience in controls and instrumentation is required.
  • Design and simulation of control systems.
